Do you want to commute by ferry each day and enjoy stunning crystal waters and white sandy beaches? Rottnest Island is looking for an experienced Carpenter to join their team!

About the role:

Join a tight-knit team and take on diverse Carpenter job tasks, where every day brings something new. You will be assisting with renovations that are taking place on Rottnest Island.

This role is Monday – Friday with occasional weekend work, departing from Fremantle at 7am on a payrate of $49.34p/hr (inclusive of 25% casual loading+ All purpose allowance).

Responsibilities:

• Hand and power tool use
• General labouring
• Loading and unloading construction materials
• Structural timber work
• Renovating bathrooms, kitchens etc
• mixing and pouring concrete and plaster

Requirements:

• White card
• Forklift licence
• Certificate 3 in carpentry
• WA Driver’s licence
• Rights to work within Australia
